Google only shows a small portion of the links that point to your site. There is no exact metric to how many links they show. I have seen some sites with 1,000’s of links only showing 20 in google and I have seen sites with 100 links showing 15 in google. As you can see their is no exact percentage.

But there are better ways to find how many links a site has, such as using Yahoo! site explorer just type into the Yahoo! toolbar site:www.example.com. This should give you a better serving of links.

Also if it is your site that you are looking to check the in links on then you you can use Google webmaster tools. Just scroll to the column that says “links to your site”.
