Have you ever seen a picture (like the one below) next to a comment and wondered what it is:

Recently we have been creating blogs for a couple of clients so that they may be able to explore the blogosphere and network with other bloggers in their niche. After about 2 days one of the clients came back to me and asked me a question, he asked “how do I put a picture next to my comment when posting comments on other blogs?”

As I got to thinking I thought to myself, how many other people don’t know how to do this? so I decided to write a very brief tutorial on this subject. Here is what you do:

1) Go to Gravatar

2) Create a username

3) Upload your picture.

Now every time you post under the email address you supplied Gravatar with, your icture will show up next to your comment.

I know most people already know how to do this but I see to many people without pictures on their comments. It really helps to have a picture next to your comment, did you know a blogger is more likely to notice your comment and respond to it if you have a picture next to it, this makes your comment more personal. So get to uploading, I can’t wait to see everyones pics.
