3 Comments Everyone knows that a major key to internet marketing is to keep that bouncerate down. Today I am gonna show all you people (Like Me) that like to install a million plugins on your blog but still keep it running somewhat fast. Some of these are probably tricks that you already know but for the Newb’s I must post them. Well here goes nothing:
Install WP Super Cache Plugin – This is a great plugin and it has done wonders for my blog. What it basically dos is takes a popular page/pages and caches them on you server so that every time someone comes to your site it is just pulling a cached page rather than going through all of the requests that are usually needed when someone visits a page.
Replace Dynamic Wordpress Code – There are a bunch of server side functions in the header that you can manually replace with static links i.e. can be replaced with http://www.example.com (Re place example with your site name).
Cut Back On Server Requests – Everytime you upload a picture or video to a blog it adds another request that your server must make. The easiest way to get rid of this problem would be to upload videos and pictures to places like Flickr and Youtube.
Sweep Up You Database – There is a really nifty plugin for cleaning up your database it is called “WordPress Clean Options Plugin”. What it basically does is take unused/orphaned code that were left behind from old plugins and draft posts and empties them out of your database.
Delete Old Unwanted Plugins – Or you can disable them but I believe in deleting them altogether to get rid of the possible code that it installed on your server and if your not using it your just wasting server space.

5 Comments To say the least this is probably one of the best snippets of code Google has released yet. I ran a comparison on load speed and the pages on the test site that I put this code on is now running 13.2% faster that it was originally running.
Unfortunately a lot of people don’t even know what Google Asynchronous Analytics Tracking is, so let me give you a brief run down. Google Asynchronous Analytics Tracking is the new analytics code that Google has come out with, it is still in Beta (Along With Everything Else From Google) but available to the general public. Some of the features of Google Asynchronous Analytics Tracking are the following:
Faster tracking code load times for your web pages due to improved browser execution
Enhanced data collection & accuracy
Elimination of tracking errors from dependencies when the JavaScript hasn’t fully loaded
One thing that is very cool about Google Asynchronous Analytics Tracking is the fact that you can pretty much out it anywhere on you page. I put mine in the <HEAD>

</script>The one thing that has me baffled though is the fact that google hasn’t pushed this product harder, it is a major upgrade from GA.JS. Oh well, at least I got the word out to my readers. No Comments I felt that I would share a cool little secret that a lot of e commerce advertisers have yet to utilize. Have you noticed lately that there are picture popping up next to products in Adwords? Well today I am gonna share how to do that with all my e-commerce readers. It is just a tiny bit complex but I feel that anyone can do it.
Here are the steps to take:
1) Go into your Google merchant center and click on the tab that says settings than click on the tab that says Adwords.
2) Enter in your Adwords account number (that is the number that you see in the top right hand corner of the screen when you are in your Adwords account)
3) Create a product specific Google Adwords account. Meaning a campaign that goes to product landing pages.
4) Go to your campaign settings for your product specific campaign and scroll down to Networks, devices, and extensions. Underneath that you will see an option to modify Ad Extensions.
5) Click on edit and then click on save. Thats it, you are all done.

I mean come on who in their right mind is actually gonna let this through as a comment on their blog? And for the people who auto approve comments they will surely see an eye sore like this one and instantly delete it.
A message for all of the spammers who are doing this “Get A Real Job” you guys suck. You are the people who help to bring down our industry and I wish I could find out who half of you people our so I can tie you down and tattoo douchebag across your heads. If you are going to spam at least make the comments useful. Ihave a couple of spammers who have hit my blog with meaningful comments and guess what, I let it through. I said to myself, at least they had the decency to write a good comment.
I am seriously gonna start trying to find out the companies that do this and one by one I am gonna start posting on how they are bad scam companies. I get like 50 spam messages a day and I have to go through everyone of them because unfortunately an innocent persons comment get caught in the filter every once in a while. Do you know what a pain in the ass that is. But most of the time while going through these comments I laugh to myself thinking what brainless idiots write these comments like the one I posted.
Well enough of my ramblings, What are your thoughts on this?
